These botanical watercolors were painted for the book GROW-HARVEST-SHARE: SEEDS FOR EVERYONE, by SOMOS SEMILLA Community Seed Library and published in 2017. This material, written in Spanish, celebrates and promotes the ancestral practice of seed saving. SOMOS SEMILLA is located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, providing the community with open pollinated seeds adapted to local conditions since 2015. The love of seeds brings together biologist Sole Saburido, visual artist Emily C-D and agroecologist Jenn Ungemach.
